Loraine and Neil Jesse purchased their first Rottweiler in 1989,
on May 03 1991 Rothburg became an official registered kennel, with the Canadian kennel club, Rothburg continues to grow
with the help of many dedicated people. Rothburg is not a business, but a passion and hobby, all of our dogs are a major,
vital part of our lives, we are very committed to the Rottweiler breed. Our goal at Rothburg is to be recognized for contributing
to the Rottweiler breed, in a positive way, we also want to be recognized as one of the top Rottweiler breeding names in the
world.
At Rothburg we are carefully selecting and combining the finest
international bloodlines, all of the Rottweilers that we use within our breeding program are registered, titled,
temperament tested, and genetically tested to help ensure the health, phenotype, and genotype of future Rothburg puppies.
Most of the activities in our
lives are with our Rottweilers, puppies born at Rothburg are raised within our home, literally underfoot and integrated into
our family, we do not keep any of our Rottweilers kenneled outside or, in a garage, all of our Rottweilers live in our home
with us; there is not a place to go within our home where there is not one of our dogs, all of our Rottweilers are valued
by us and are vital members of our Family. We follow the doctrine of Rutherford and Neil, authors of the book, "How to Raise
a puppy you can live with". Due to the fact that ALL dogs are carnivores, we feed our Rottweilers a species appropriate
diet which is the prey model diet, we limit vaccinations and take a more holistic and natural approach to rearing, our Rottweilers
are given the best and we expect the same from all potential owners.
Most Rothburg puppies are sold under a written agreement/guarantee,
we are looking for good, responsible and loving ambassadors for our beloved breed. To own one of our puppies, you must be
a dedicated, responsible, loving person who is willing to make the puppy a major part of your life, Rothburg stands by their
dedicated puppy people and provide continued support to those who need us.
